Supervisory Training

Did you know that the number one reason employees vote for a union is to seek protection from abusive supervision? Have you ever thought about the high cost of ineffective supervision in terms of productivity: safety; quality; workers compensation; etc? It is a fact that there is hardly any area of your business that cannot be affected negatively by untrained supervision. Unfortunately, in most instances, supervisors have never had any formal training on how to be an effective and successful leader, most often, the only training they’ve received is that presented to them by life itself.  Team Optimal has developed a six part supervisory training program, available in English and Spanish, that addresses the most common weaknesses found in untrained supervisors, including:

  • Problem Solving and Listening
  • Setting and Communicating Expectations
  • Coaching to Achieve Expectations
  • Selection and Interviewing Skills
  • Corrective Discipline
